Avon Brick featured on Anderson

Today's show of Anderson Cooper featured Newark teacher, Princess Williams. She was awarded for getting her students up to grade level - many who started off not being exposed to letters and numbers. For her success with her "Scholars" (what she calls her students) she received a day at a Red Door Spa for herself and her mom (who also works at the school).

A few weeks ago Anderson visited the Brick Avon Academy to award Princess and even read to the students. Today the show aired with teacher and students in the studio for the show. Princess received a second round of spa treatments and the school and students received other great things - like a 1000 book library from Scholastic and $5000 in supplies from Staples. Congrats to Princess!
