There's just so many back to school events for the kids that it's hard to keep track of. We've probably missed a few but here are the ones we've found for the next few weekends. Click for times/locations/details.

  Ages 5-12, Free haircuts, nails and happy meals and DJ

• Sun, August 30: Friends & Family Pool Party @ JFK Recreation Center
  Free haircuts, supplies, food, DJ

• Sun, August 30: Back to School Jam @ JFK Recreation Center
  Free haircuts, supplies, uniforms, food, DJ

• Sat, September 5: West Ward Family Fun Day @ Vailsburg Park
  Backpacks, face painting and more

• Sat, September 5: Central Ward Family & Friends Day @Nat Turner Park
  Bookbags, food, games

• Sun, September 6:  Back to School Event @ Vince Lombardi Center for Hope
  Free haircuts, back packs, supplies and guest appearances

• Sat, September 12: Safe Schools Extravaganza @ The Leaguers
  Local talent show, backpacks, snacks, facepainting, haircuts, resources and more

• Sat, September 12: Back to School Celebration @ The Waterfront
