Breaking News: Whole Foods to Open Downtown

Looks like the ink might be drying on a lease for Whole Foods to be a tenant at the abandoned Hahne's Building downtown.
It was also heard at the same meeting, a Wyndham Tryp Hotel to come where the current Carlton Hotel is downtown. Tryp is a new brand for the Wyndham group - there is one in Times Square.
More details once they are "officially" released.
EDITOR NOTE (10/3; 11:35am): James Allen, Director of Communications for the City of Newark, said there is no confirmed lease with Whole Foods.
