Career Day at Rutgers

The Abbott Leadership Institute Youth Media Symposium, NPS Office of College and Career Readiness, & community partners invite students to explore over 50 career and major possibilities in the arts, sciences, education, business, social services, public administration, technology and more! Representatives, mostly Newarkers, will be on hand to engage students around their work. The event is geared toward high school students, but middle school students are welcome.

There will also be workshops on:

3. Careers in Medicine and Science Hanaa A. Hamdi
4. Personal Branding - Orane Williams
5. Careers in Law, Social Justice & the Importance of Civic Engagement - Junius Williams and Myra Molina
6. All You Need to Know - Paying for Your Education
7. 4 Year College, 2 Year College, or Trade/Vocational School - Which is Right for Me?
8. Telling Our Story - Video Production, Music and the Arts

We will also have food, contests and giveaways!
