Cold Beer Hot Glass

Nearly sixty young professionals gathered last Thursday (June 17) evening for a unique networking event hosted by GlassRoots, the youth-serving hot glass studio located on Bleeker Street in Downtown Newark. Billed as ‘Cold Beer, Hot Glass’, artists, attorneys, designers, entrepreneurs and more munched and mingled among the studios kilns and glassblowing furnaces.

Gail Lalla, Senior Project Manager at Greener by Design enjoyed the hands on demos of jewelry making and glass blowing, while interacting with varied group of professionals. Summing it up, Lalla said, "Fun people, great wine, and stimulating conversations. It was good to see such great energy in the Newark community!”
