Coming Soon: NICO

The NJPAC is getting a new restaurant replacing the former Theater Square Grill. Next week (Feb 21st) NICO is opening - the all-new, "Italian Without Borders" according to their press release. The NICO Kitchen + Bar concept -- comes from renowned Chef Ryan DePersio of Fascino (Montclair) and Bar Cara (Bloomfield). The food is described as tapas with Contemporary American and Italian leanings.

So what's to come for food and drink:
- small plates dinner menu
- eclectic lunch menu
- Happy Hour with crafted cocktails & specially priced "bites"
- Value-priced 3-course meal for performance nights - designed so guests can make it inside - if they arrive 90mins prior to performance
- 21 wines by the glass, original seasonal and classic cocktails, and artisanal beers.

In keeping with the spectacular theatrics of the NJPAC space, the space is being redesigned with new booth seating and a community table for 12, dramatic pendulum lamps, and theatrical panels on pulleys that create intimate (or grand) dining spaces. The private dining rooms at NICO will accommodate events both business and social for up to 240 guests.

NICO will serve lunch Monday through Friday and dinner nightly except Sunday.
