The parade promotes the power of arts education, youth entrepreneurship, cultural diversity and children's creativity. The cornerstones of the parade are 8' Animoduleâ„¢ sculptures, a Newark original art form, built in workshops year round by artists in residence working with children, schools, and community organizations. This year Creation Nation is partnering with Prevent Child Abuse NJ with the goal of bringing youth, artists, schools and community organizations from all 21 NJ counties to "March for Art". The parade is the grand finale of the October month-long Arts and Humanities celebration in Newark.
