Express Newark: Open House
Express Newark, which opened in January, is hosting a series of monthly open houses to introduce the community to its partners and programs. All are welcome to attend these FREE events. The first open house is scheduled for March 8, from 6-9 p.m., featuring four Express Newark partners: Newest Americans, Shine Portrait Studio, the Newark Print Shop, and the Paul Robeson Gallery. Come tour the facilities, located in the iconic building once occupied by the Hahne & Company department store, and meet some of the people who are making Express Newark a vibrant new neighbor in Newark.

The Newark Print Shop’s programming includes Print Club Open Studio, printers in residence, membership, exhibitions, workshops, pop up print shop, and print parties.

- Newest Americans/Center for Migration and the Global City
Documentary production. Newest Americans works alongside professional journalists, media-makers, artists, RU-N faculty and staff to research, produce and publicize stories that define the shifting national culture and chronicle the narratives of immigrant experience.
