Giving Tuesday 2014

Mayor Ras J. Baraka announced that today (December 2) the City of Newark will celebrate #GivingTuesday - Newark's Day of Giving. The proclamation of #GivingTuesday in the city, spearheaded by La Casa de Don Pedro, a comprehensive community-based corporation based in the City of Newark's North End, will be the first of its kind. There will be a free #GivingTuesday reception at Aljira from 5:30-7pm.

Other organizations participating in the global Day of Giving are:
- WBGO
- Newark Museum
- Youth Build Newark
- Greater Newark Conservancy
- Newark Arts Council
- Covenant House
- GlassRoots

Jersey Give-Back Guide
