GrassROOTS Summer Camp 2013

Super Camp, a core program of GrassROOTS' SEEDLINGS initiative, is a summer day camp for girls. The Camp provides girls with leadership skills and confidence grounded in a sense of history and cultural understanding. At Super Camp, girls learn basic literacy in mathematics, science, history, and reading through a cultural lens.

They are now accepting applications. Super Camp features: daily fitness, yoga, dance, math, science and service. It is held at St. Matthew's AME Church in Orange from July 5-August 2 from 9am-5pm. GrassROOTS Community Foundation (GCF) is a health advocacy organization that supports, develops, and scales community-driven solutions to the health challenges facing impoverished women and girls. We provide funding and technical support to community based health programs. We develop models that are high-impact, evidence driven and context specific. We work with girls, their families and community members.
