Hobby’s Liberty Wrap

New York Liberty players Sydney Colson, Quanitra Hollingsworth, Leilani Mitchell and Plenette Pierson visited Hobby's Delicatessen and Restaurant yesterday to create the signature "New York Liberty Wrap."

The players went over following their 59-49 win over the Chicago Sky. They spent time grilling and chopping chicken and vegetables for their 15-ingredient special, which will live on the menu for the rest of the season.

The NY Liberty Wrap celebrates the team's 15th anniversary. The ingredients include: wrap, grilled chicken, peppers, zucchini, carrots, onions, mushrooms and a salad of baby greens with grape tomatoes, roasted peppers, red onions, salt and pepper, grated pecorino Romano, balsamic dressing and some Liberty love!

Michael Brummer of Hobby's, was excited to be a part of the celebration. "The players were so nice they made a fan out of me. They were such good sports and happy to be at the restaurant. I also figure any positive story about Newark is always good."
