Ink Master Season 2 Premiers Tonight

Spike TV's Ink Master 2 premiers tonight at 10pm. This is the second season it is filmed in Newark. Last season's show was filmed at WISSOM and the contestants were housed in a brownstone in the University Heights area. This season, the Ironbound Film Studios is the main location - housing the contestants and providing the space for where they compete.

This season, 16 top tattoo artists from around the country battle it out in ink for a $100,000 grand prize and more! Unfortunately there are no contestants representing NJ - last season there was local, Brian Robinson (see article from NJ.com). The show is hosted and judged by Dave Navarro (Jane's Addiction), renowned tattoo artists Chris Nunez ("Miami Ink") and Oliver Peck (Elm Street Tattoo) and guest judges.
