Jersey Cares Coat Drive

From now through February 7, 2014, Jersey Cares plans to collect and distribute more than 60,000 "gently used" winter coats to men, women and children in need throughout New Jersey.

This year, The Jersey Cares Coat Drive is proud to partner with The 2014 NY/NJ Super Bowl Host Committee, Wal-Mart and New York Cares to create The Super Community Coat Drive, the largest Coat Drive ever held in the tri-state area -- and likely the largest Coat Drive in history.

Newark Drop-Off Locations

Memorial West United Presbyterian Church, 286-7th Street.
Coats accepted Mondays through Fridays, 10 am to 1:30 pm until December 21.

Storage King USA, 1448 McCarter Highway.
Coats accepted Mondays through Fridays, 8 am to 7 pm; Saturdays, 10 am to 6 pm; Sundays 11 am to 4 pm until December 15.

Word of God Christian Center, 600 South Orange Avenue.
Coats accepted Sundays, 10 am to 11 am through February 7.
