Established in 2012, the Newark Mentoring Movement's vision is to expand mentorship to reach 10,000 youths annually in Newark by 2017. Though they are not a direct service organization, they are a collaborative effort. They work with mentoring programs in Newark to share best practices in mentoring, and work with local programs to expand their efforts. In the future, we will bring in nationally established programs to Newark. The Newark Mentoring Movement will work to match you with a program that is a right fit for you.
