New Restaurants Open on Academy

Two new places opened yesterday nearly side-by-side on Academy Street downtown.

New to the scene is Sweet Retreat Boutique. They had 4 different types of cupcakes including coconut and red velvet. And they specialize in custom cakes. They are offering some free samples (if available) today.



A few doors down is newly renovated Academy Gourmet. Much more brighter and clean. Providing a salad bar, breakfast items and lots of other lunch offerings. Until today they are also doing 50% off Salad Bar at $2.99/lb.
