Newark Food Truck Winners

Newark is a part of the food truck fad - and is now home to many food trucks. Some trucks like Taco Truck and Two Pitas in A Pod started coming to Newark after Jersey City started new legislation that made it difficult for food trucks in town. Other trucks include Taqueria Autentica and Qba and many more.

This past weekend two trucks known to Newarkers were finalists in the Vendy's. The competition was typically only for New York food trucks, but this year they introduced the Best of NJ category - where both Two Pitas In a Pod and Taco Truck were finalists - The Taco Truck won!

Another familiar truck that won for Rookie of the Year from NYC - Korilla BBQ was on the Great American Food Truck Race.
