Newark Museum Adjusts Hours for Little Ones

Starting tomorrow (Wednesday, July 6), the Newark Museum will open at 11am (Wednesday through Friday) so little ones can enjoy the newly opened Maker Space. A few parents, members of the social group Newark Mommies, shared with Museum staff that toddlers usually go down for afternoon naps around 12-1pm making it difficult to get to the museum. The Newark Museum staff heard their request and decided to do something about it. They are now opening an hour earlier so that all can enjoy the new space that is perfectly designed for the pre-school age group. 

Meet Newark Mommies (and parents) tomorrow at 11am and enjoy the kick-off of the early opening at 11am. Created for children under age 5, but siblings are welcome!
