Newark Police Horses leave for Philly

Today is the last day of Newark's Equine Unit - the mounted unit of 18 horses will be officially out of work after 120 years, victims of budget woes. Four of the horses: Broadway Kevin, Amazing Art, Seelster Sam, and American Yankee - all former racehorses - have been sold and sent to the Philadelphia Police Department.
