Newark Scale Model

In collaboration between the Newark Planning Office and the New Jersey School of Architecture with support from the National Endowment for the Arts - they are creating a 14' x 14' scale model of Newark representing every block of the city.

They are creating a permanent exhibition and video to help Newark residents understand how development happens and provide tools to advocate for their neighborhood and city.

Tonight there is an open studio reception to view and discuss the on-going project. Desserts and refreshments will be served as you view the model fabrication process and meet students on the project team.
