Now Open: Martini 494

The highly anticipated martini bar on Broad Street is open. Martini 494 Bistro is a great mix of their other restaurants of Martini and the Garage in Millburn. The owners bring together a delicious menu, affordable prices and intoxicating drinks.

Martini 494 opens early at 7am with a full hot breakfast counter for take-out. Lunch sandwiches and entrees (except for steak frites) are all under $14, most under $11. And their dinner menu expands with something for everyone - pizza both individual sized and normal, fish, pasta and steak entree choices and much more. Newark-inspired menu items include 494 branded hot dogs, burgers, chicken sandwiches and even BBQ ribs made Broad Street style.

After glancing at their drink menu - it's no wonder why Martini is in their name - their martini list is top-rated by NJ Monthly! And they have spiked milk shakes and 12 beers on tap.

If it's too cold or you are feeling a little lazy... they also offer delivery and catering too!

The restaurant boasts comfy booths, a warm backlit bar and soon-to-come loungey couches. At the front of the restaurant there's a communal table for groups. BUT what makes the table unique isn't the size but the fact that it (along with the beautiful bar top) was made from salvaged yellow and white pine from demolished Newark buildings!
