Open Doors 2011

Looks like the Newark Arts Council will be debuting a bigger and better Open Doors Weekend for their 10th Anniversary for October 20-23. All items will be confirmed soon - but here's a sneak peek of some of the highlights!

Thursday, October 20th:
Kick-off Launch Party. As a fundraiser for the Arts Council there will be a charge for entry.

Friday, October 21st:
Gallery Tour with shuttle buses available or you can do it on your own.

Saturday, October 22nd:
Open Studio Tour will have Newark artists opening up their studio spaces for the public. NJPAC will also be hosting a dance party this night!

Sunday, October 23rd:
Creation Nation Art Parade with Newark's own Animodules (see pics from last year's). This year the parade starts at Lincoln Park and marches down to Washington Park, where there will an Art Festival in Washington Park.
