Patrick Miracle Dog Update
Do you remember Patrick the dog discovered in the spring? Someone had starved him to near death, put him in a garbage bag and threw it down the garbage chute. He was discovered by a maintenance worker as he was about to move the garbage to the compacter. He was barely 15lbs when they found him on March 16th - and named Patrick the Miracle Dog because he was found the day before St. Patrick's Day.
Nine months later - he's a different dog - weighing up to 55lbs and living with his foster family - who work at the Garden State Veterinary Hospital in Tinton, NJ where he was brought. His former owner, Keisha Curtis, awaits trial on animal cruelty charges.
Other than a minor scar around his eye, there isn't any signs of the skeleton-like dog we saw on the nationwide news.
Below is the interview from NBC recently of the new and improved Patrick.
