Princess Prom Project 2012

One of the most coveted rites of passage in a teenage girl's life is most certainly her high school senior prom. Understanding that the glitz and glamour surrounding prom festivities doesn't come cheap, Systas 4 Systas, Inc invites high school seniors in East Orange and Newark to take part in their Princess Prom Project. The Princess Prom Project starts off with a donated dress drop off, followed by a dress drive where girls can pick out a prom dress as well as get beauty and etiquette tips for the big day. All participating ladies will be asked to write an essay on why they deserve to be a Prom Princess, for a chance to have their hair and makeup professionally done on prom day.

Now through April 15, 2012, gently used dresses can be mailed for donation to Systas 4 Systas, (421 Parker Street, Newark, NJ 07014) and dropped off Monday-Friday at the East Orange YMCA, (100 North Arlington Avenue, East Orange, NJ 07017).

Systas 4 Systas, Inc is a community driven organization which was created to develop and enhance the self-esteem of young women in urban areas between the ages of 11-21 years old. S4S works hard to empower impressionable young ladies, encouraging them to take control of their destiny and rise above the negativity often found in their environments.
