School Lunch Application Deadline 2012

Parents must fill out a lunch application online to find out if your child(ren) qualify for a free or reduced lunch. Only one application per household is required. Questions call: 973.733.8805. Applications can ONLY be done online: http://schoollunchapp.com

All students (grades preK-12) are required to complete application to receive benefits. Lunch applications must be completed each year.

Computer Access and Assistance

If you need computer access, Newark Public Schools' Food Service Office at 2 Cedar Street will have extended hours to assist parents with their lunch applications between 9am and 6pm Tuesdays and Thursdays until October 11, 2012. The office is also open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 9am and 3pm.

According to Elizabeth Reynoso, Food Policy Director of the City, the Newark Public Library is open late on Wednesdays with staff poised to help and Newark Now Family Success Centers are prepared to provide computer access and answer FAQs.
