Short Hair Project

John Anthony is a photographer and make-up artist originally from Newark. He has been photographing African American Women with short hair since the early 90's. He is looking for 100+ women to be in a group photo shoot this Saturday, September 22nd at 6pm. To participate hair must be natural, low to scalp or no more than 3 inches high (no locks or twists). Reception to follow at Distinct 89 at 89 Market Street.

John plans to do an exhibit of the work in 2013. Saturday's shoot is just one of the concepts for the exhibit.
