Slimmer Fat Joe joins Lets Move

Fat Joe has recently lost over 100 pounds after nearly six of his friends, similar in size, died from heart attacks! His slimmer body will be in Newark on January 23rd performing at an event celebrating the winners from Let's Move Newark. From past interviews, Fat Joe explains that fat loss is about education and is excited to be a part of this program.

Let's Move! Newark is an extension of Michelle Obama's nationwide Let's Move Campaign, which Mayor Booker currently serves as the honorary Vice Chair. The program began in October with 1500 high school freshmen in five Newark high schools competing against each other for the most minutes moved. Barringer HS has achieved the winning title with 619,600 minutes moved, which earned them a performance by Fat Joe!
