Stadium of Screams 2012

The Stadium of Screams is BACK! The Newark Bears Stadium will be transformed from ballpark to haunted house, as the team is scheduled to open its doors for the Halloween-themed event beginning on October 18. In its second year, "Stadium of Screams" is a bone-chilling haunted attraction that features five separate indoor haunts, allowing fans to navigate through the team's clubhouse and other areas of the ballpark. One of the haunts is less frightening and designed for younger children.

"Stadium of Screams" will run on the following days: October 18 - 21, 25 - 28 and 31 from 8pm to midnight.

On Saturday, October 27, the Bears will host the first annual "Barkula""”a costume contest for dogs"”with winners being chosen for scariest, most creative and cutest costumes, as well as a talent competition and an Ugliest Dog contest!

Admission into the stadium, where there will be live entertainment, costume contests and carnival games, is FREE. Admission into FIVE haunted attractions is now on pre-sale for $20 (Originally $10 per haunt). A hay ride that takes place on the field at "The Den" costs $5. Mystery dinners are also available.
