Summer 2014: Weequahic Park Celebrates 100th Anniversary

This year, Weequahic Park celebrates 100 years. The Weequahic Park Sports Authority is celebrating with Spark in the Park. It will take place in the circle section of the park on July 4th from 12-8pm. There will be several boxing exhibitions performed by local talented kids and young adults, showing off their skills, endurance, willingness and passion. The rain date will be July 5th.

The Golf Course will be celebrating the Centennial with a Golf Classic and Awards Dinner to help benefit the park and the golf course on July 14th. Registration is open to the public and available on a first come, first served basis. To purchase tickets online visit: www.theFirstTeeEssex.org.
