Summer 2015: Newark Watershed Camp

If you are interested and eligible, the Division of Recreation and Cultural Affairs is currently accepting Camp Watershed 2015 Summer Camp Application.

All the details are within the application, but here's some quick points.

At this 2-week camp, each participant has an opportunity to experience an accredited outdoor camp experience where they will participate in activities such as swimming, archery, arts and crafts, hiking, low and high ropes, field sports, fishing, gardening, and much more. All at no cost.

Key factors:
1. Newark residents ONLY
2. It's in West Milford, NJ (Bus transportation is available daily from 7 sites throughout the City.)
3. There are FOUR sessions June 29th - August 21st, 2014 (2 week sessions)
4. Hours are Monday - Friday from 8:15am - 5:15pm
5. Participant ages: 7-14 and 15-17 (special Project Legacy program)

Along with the completed application, each application must also include the child's birth certificate, immunization records, a physical exam given by a medical physician, and proof of residency.
