Summer 2015: Pride Fest

With the latest news of the Supreme Court declaring same-sex marriage legal and Newark creating LBGT-friendly business decals the tone is being set for Newark's PrideFest to be one of celebration and of course, LOVE!

Newark Pride Week 2015 will feature arts and cultural events and a range of entertainment for adults, families and youth. Celebrating the 10th Anniversary - the schedule is full of activities and events:

Monday, July 13
6pm: Stunts & Shows Gay Trivia (Competition for Youth)

Tuesday, July 14
5:30pm: Flag Raising Ceremony

Wednesday, July 15
5pm: Art Exhibit & Movie Screening featuring LGBT Artists

Thursday, July 16
5pm: Outdoor Dance Party @ NJPAC Sounds of the City

Friday, July 17
8pm: Pride Concert & After Party - featuring top DJ's and surprise guest celebrity

Saturday, July 18
9am: Health Fair & Rainbow Relays
11am: Pride Family Cookout with DJ, Food, Doggie Pageant
6pm: NYC Harbor Cruise

Sunday, July 19
10am: Interfaith Service
1pm: Parade
1:30: Festival at Washington Park
