Summer 2016 Youth Employment
The City of Newark in partnership with Newark Community EDC is launching the Summer Youth Application. The application is now available online:
For immediate certification, bring the following required documents:
- Social Security Card
- Birth Certificate (must by 14 years or older)
- Current Passport, Permanent Resident Card or Proof of Legal Residence
- Recent Report Card (must show 2.5 GPA or better)
- Current utility bill or lease
- All college students bring current unofficial transcript with GPA

- Feb 22, 3:30-6pm @ Weequahic High School
- Feb 23, 3-6pm @ EastSide High School
- Feb 25, Mar 1-3, 3:30-6pm @ Arts High School
- Mar 7-10, 3:30-6pm @ Science Park High School
- Mar 15-17, 3:30-6pm @ Speedway Elementary School
- Mar 21-24, 3:30-6pm @ Camden Street School
- Mar 29-31, 3:30-6pm @ Barringer High School
